Beaucarnea recurvata, also known as elephant foot or horse tail palm plant, is a unique and tall indoor plant. Horsetail palm plants are palm-like plants with wide bases that contain water reserves and thick, swollen brown stems. And from the top of the stem, roses, green leaves and leather shoot up and fall. As they grow older, these stems grow to resemble a tail. And this tail can grow up to 9.1 meters in height and 3.7 meters at the base. But when it comes to houseplants, they are usually 1.8 to 2.4 meters tall. The unique shape of the leaves and their attractive appearance and easy care methods make Beaucarnea recurvata ideal for decorative plants.
Most of these are propagated by seed. Planting time for the sedum palm is usually monsoon season. When indoors, place it where it gets full sun, such as a window. Water enough to keep the soil moist.
