Popular succulent houseplants with enduring blooms are kalanchoes. Although taking care of blooming kalanchoes is not difficult at all, there are a few things you should be aware of. This plant prefers direct, bright light. As long as it is not exposed to excessive amounts of direct sunlight, medium or high light conditions are ideal; keep it away from heated windows to prevent burning. Kalanchoe doesn’t need to be wet all the time. Make sure to allow all the water to drain completely before giving it another watering. Normal house temperatures are fine, but remember that, just like with any flowering plant, the faster the flowers open up and the shorter the blooming period is, the hotter your home gets.
