PlantBox™ is an award-winning, stackable living wall system designed to make creating vertical gardens easy. Its unique watering system makes looking after plants easy, with no daily watering required. It's made from 100% recycled materials and was shortlisted for the RHS Chelsea Sustainable Product of the Year 2021.
It is very easy to put together, lightweight and sturdy. You create your living wall by stacking the troughs and simply fixing them back to a suitable wall or frame. We also supply planted versions, with the plants already in place.

Inside every trough
Simple on the wall. Clever inside.
Each trough carries its own water supply, and any overflow passes down to the trough below, so the whole wall stays evenly moist from top to bottom.

How often do I need to water it?
There is no daily watering. Each trough holds 1.8 litres in its own reservoir, and a level indicator shows when it needs topping up. How often that is depends on your plants, the light and the season, so check the indicators more often outdoors in the summer months.
Are plants included?
Choose Indoor Plants or Outdoor Plants to have your set supplied with plants, or No Plants to plant it yourself. Each trough takes four standard 1 litre plants, so a Set of 3 takes 12, a Set of 5 takes 20 and a Set of 10 takes 40.
Can it go outdoors in the UAE heat?
Yes. PlantBox is made for indoor and outdoor use. For a wall in full sun, choose heat-tolerant plants and keep a closer eye on the water level through the hottest months.
How is it fixed to the wall?
Stack the troughs, then fix the stack back to a suitable wall or frame. The installation video above walks through the assembly step by step.
Can I make a bigger wall?
Yes. Sets can stand side by side along a wall, and a Set of 10 can go up as one 2 metre column or be split into two columns of five.
What size plants fit?
Standard 1 litre nursery pots. The plants go straight in from the pot, four per trough.
What is it made from?
Every trough is made from 100% recycled material. It is lightweight but sturdy.
